As Balm Grove East and West communities continue to grow, the area is experiencing increased strain on the water system, particularly during peak demand hours of 5 to 9 AM and 5 to 9 PM To ensure consistent water pressure for your community, Hillsborough County is asking all residents to temporarily reduce water use, especially irrigation, during these peak times. This temporary measure is a result of a delivery issue affecting water pressure in the County’s local booster station, which serves your neighborhood. The booster station is being relocated, and the project will be completed by December 2025.
Until that time, the community can work together to avoid low-water pressure events that can lead to precautionary boil water notices. Please note that most residents are not currently experiencing low water pressure, but your cooperation now will prevent larger problems later.
