Resources for those who have fallen behind on payments

Hillsborough County Water Resources customers who have fallen behind on payments and need help bringing their account current should call (813) 272-6680 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customer service representatives can assist customers in creating custom and impartial pay plans to pay their past due balances over time.

  • To remain on this program and avoid interruption of service, customers are required to pay their current monthly charges in full plus the reasonable amount agreed.
  • If customers encounter trouble with paying the past due amount, they can contact Water Resources to review additional payment options for the past due amount.
  • Hillsborough County has waived all late and delinquent fees for past due balances until November 2020 so now is the time for customers to set up a penalty free pay plan.

Customers can view their account balances and make secure payments using the 24/7 automated pay-by-phone or online service.

Your payments allow us to provide continuous service to our community

We understand unexpected circumstances, including the COVID-19 pandemic, may impact our customers financially. An overwhelming number of our customers have maintained a current account status this year, and we are very grateful and appreciate their efforts. As our community enters the recovery stages, we also understand that getting back to normal will take time.

Please contact Water Resources immediately if you receive a past due notice to initiate a payment plan, if needed, and learn about possible payment assistance resources.

Together we'll get through this, but we cannot do it without you.
