Some brain- healthy foods to include on your next shopping trip:
- Canned tuna or salmon for Omega 3 fatty acids
- Coffee or green tea in moderation for antioxidants and brain stimulation
- Assorted berries
- Turmeric to fight inflammation
- Chia and flax seeds for protein and fiber
- Dark chocolate in moderation for brain- healthy acids
- Olive oil for brain- healthy fats
- Avocado for protein, fiber, and healthy fats
- Citrus fruits for Vitamin C
- Beans for fiber, vitamins, and minerals
- Whole- grain carbohydrates
