Request for Proposal (RFP) process

Properties deemed appropriate for affordable housing purposes both within the Live Local Act and as Infill Property become available from time to time when the Affordable Housing Services department, working in conjunction with the County's Procurement Services department, releases Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to develop County properties. All land and funding opportunities are competitive, and notification is delivered to registered vendors through the Procurement Services online portal.

  1. Access the Procurement Services online portal
    • Register as a vendor with your organization’s contact information
  2. To receive notifies of any land available for affordable housing or funding opportunities, add the following category code to the Products & Services Section of your Supplier Profile, as well as all other codes related to your company’s products or services: “963.43 NON-BIDDABLE MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS - Intergovernmental/Inter-Agency Contracts”

Notifications of County RFP opportunities

We will make notifications in the following manner:

  • Procurement Services online portal
  • A notice of the RFP opportunity will be printed in local newspapers

If a solicitation for an upcoming Affordable Housing Infill RFP or funding available for other types of development is not posted on the Procurement Services’ online portal, then there is no RFP opportunity available.
