Find out where you can get your dog, cat, or ferret vaccinated for rabies

The rabies virus is a very serious disease that can pass from animals to people. All dogs, cats, and ferrets four months of age or older must have a rabies vaccine administered by a veterinarian.

Proof of a rabies vaccination, either one or three year version, is required in order to get a tag for your pet. While adopted pets leave the Pet Resources Center with vaccinations, we can’t provide vaccinations or other veterinary care for pets you already own.
