Why not keep hiking?
This year's hiking spree may be wrapping up, but that doesn't mean you should stop trail blazing. Hillsborough County has over 300 miles of trails to explore, plenty to keep you hiking all year long.
View a map of nature preserves and conservation parks to see what trails you have yet to conquer. You can filter by amenities so you can also find the best spots for fishing, bird watching, equestrian trails, camping, canoe rentals, swimming, observation towers, and more.
Has the heat already slowed you down? Take a night hike at Lettuce Lake Conservation Park. Join a park ranger on the trail and see what the animals and plants of the park are doing when everyone else is gone. You'll learn about some of the unique flora and fauna of the area while enjoying the sunset.
