June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month

Throughout June, Hillsborough County Adult Day Service has partnered with the Alzheimer's Association to bring the Brain Bus to locations through the county. The events will provide information and resources on Alzheimer's and dementia, including the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's, 10 healthy habits for your brain, steps to take for an accurate diagnosis, and information on the advancement in research.

During these events at Hillsborough County Adult Day Centers each Thursday of the month, staff will also be available to answer general questions about Alzheimer's and dementia, and information on research, medications, warning signs, and progression of the disease will be available.
