Safe. Trusted. Affordable.

Every day, Hillsborough County Water Resources delivers more than 73 million gallons of clean, safe drinking water to over 725,000 residents per day. Through the Quality on Tap campaign, we're proud to spotlight the science, expertise, and commitment behind every drop that comes out of your faucet.

In 2024 alone, our dedicated team collected more than 7,600 water samples and performed over 33,500 tests to ensure our drinking water meets or exceeds state and federal standards. Our certified environmental laboratory conducts thousands of additional tests each year, all to guarantee that your water is not only safe, but of the highest quality.

Drinking tap water is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to stay hydrated. At just $4.10 for 1,000 gallons, it's a fraction of the cost of bottled water and better for your wallet and the environment. Behind the scenes, a team of trained water professionals works 24/7 to protect public health and preserve our region's water resources.

Hillsborough County’s water is quality you can trust — right from the tap.
