Job Overview

Perform responsible administrative, technical, and managerial duties inherent in directing the functions of a 9-1-1 fire and medical communications center, to include Homeland Security and Emergency Management duties and responsibilities.

Direct and oversee technical design(s), implementation and operation of complex emergency communication system components. Responsible for ensuring proper staffing levels by qualified and highly trained and licensed personnel for a 9-1-1 Center.

The position has fiscal responsibilities including preparing and administering budget expenditures. Provide administrative, logistical and operational support for the Emergency Medical Planning Council (EMPC).

Starting Salary

$89,044 - $115,752

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree; AND
  • Six years of experience in an emergency communications center, of which two years must have been at a supervisory level; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below. (For education and experience only, does not include legally required Licenses or Certifications.).
