Comfort stations to close due to approaching stormuntil further notice

Hurricane Helene Update No. 32

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2024) - Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa will close comfort stations ahead of inclement weather and approaching Tropical Storm Milton until further notice.

The comfort stations were placed in the communities hardest hit by Hurricane Helene's surge to help residents who need access to laundry services, shower and bathroom facilities and meals.

The comfort stations will return to the neighborhoods in need as soon as it is safe to remobilize the facilities.
