The online survey helps county staff prioritize and determine programs for residents

Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 31, 2024) - Hillsborough County is conducting the 2024 Countywide Survey to learn what residents think about their quality of life.

The survey is designed to capture a holistic assessment of various aspects of life in Hillsborough County. The topics covered on the online survey include the local economy, public safety, life enrichment, recreational opportunities, self-sufficiency programs for individuals and families, and high-quality community assets.

The County will use the findings of the 2024 Countywide Survey to help inform local government operations by gaining insights into areas residents think are most important. Responses also will be used to evaluate how residents' current priorities and satisfaction levels compare to those reported in the 2021 Countywide Survey, which was the last time a similar survey was completed. The results of the 2021 Countywide Survey can be viewed online.

Every Hillsborough County resident, including those who live in the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City, is encouraged to take the online survey. The survey should only take about 15 minutes to complete.

Residents can access the survey on Hillsborough County's Education & Engagement Hub at HCFL.gov/HCEngage.

The 2024 Countywide Survey launched a telephonic component on May 14. Residents can visit HCFL.gov/Survey to complete the online survey and to learn more about this year's survey.
