Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 11, 2025) - Mark your calendars for the summer events at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC). Tampa City Ballet School Presents: Cinderella on Saturday, June 14, at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Embark on a magical journey as Tampa City Ballet reimagines the timeless tale of Cinderella in a dazzling fusion of classical and contemporary ballet. This family-friendly production brings to life the beloved story with whimsical costumes, captivating choreography, and enchanting characters that will delight audiences of all ages. Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival Concert on Saturday, July 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival (RPPF) is one of the world's premier piano festivals that brings together award-winning collegiate pianists from around the globe. RPPF is returning to NTPAC this summer for a special concert featuring a few carefully selected students performing pieces that represent treasures of the classical piano repertoire. Florida Jazz Express: Fourth of July Big Band Concert on Sunday, July 6, at 3 p.m.
Florida Jazz Express is back at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center for this special holiday concert. Enjoy the patriotic songs that symbolize America, Independence Day, and summer traditions in true big band style. Tickets are $15-$20 depending on seat selection and can be purchased at NewTampaArtsCenter.org/tickets.
New Tampa Players Presents The Music Man, July 25-27 and Aug. 1-3, times vary at 8 p.m. or 3 p.m.
The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize -despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. Purchase tickets through New Tampa Players.
Summer Camps and Classes
People of all ages can tap into their creative side at NTPAC's summer camps and classes.
- Encore! Summer Camp invites kids ages 7-13 to explore acting, dancing, singing, and even a stage makeup class. The camp is offered throughout the summer in two-week and one-week sessions. Visit NewTampaArtsCenter.org/camps for dates and more information.
