Hillsborough County, Fla. (March 4, 2024) - Hillsborough County today will dedicate the new splash pad at Lesley "Les'' Miller Jr. All People's Community Park & Life Center, unveiling a swashbuckling adventure sure to delight children of all ages.
The 3,240-square-foot aquatic playground and murals offer kids a place where their imaginations can run wild as they immerse themselves on a water voyage in search of mythical creatures and buried treasure. Dubbed Crocodile Cove, the splash pad incorporates an old-style sailboat, palm trees, crocodile, volcano, and other features to make cooling off fun as well as refreshing.
The splash pad includes sensory play equipment that is inclusive and engaging to people of all abilities, and the nearby restrooms/changing rooms are ADA-accessible.
The splash pad will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with the exception of certain holidays.
