Overview & Objectives
This roadway corridor improvement project will enhance intersection safety on Bay to Bay Boulevard from South Manhattan Avenue to west of South Dale Mabry Highway (US 92). Objectives include reducing right-angle crashes by implementing safety improvements including repurposing the existing four-lane roadway into a two-lane configuration with 10-foot travel lanes and a 12-foot two-way left-turn lane; adding 7-foot buffered bicycle lanes; and upgrading signage and pavement markings to improve safety for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
