Overview
Intersection and roadway safety improvements along Bay-to-Bay Boulevard from S. Manhattan Avenue to west of S. Dale Mabry Highway (US 92).
Objectives
To enhance intersection safety and reduce right-angle crashes along Bay to Bay Boulevard from South Manhattan Avenue to just west of South Dale Mabry Highway by implementing corridor-wide safety improvements. The improvements include repurposing the existing four-lane roadway into a two-lane configuration with 10-foot travel lanes and a 12-foot two-way left-turn lane, adding 7-foot buffered bicycle lanes, and upgrading signage and pavement markings to improve safety for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.
