Hillsborough County is one of the pet-friendliest counties in the nation. From exploring our many County dog parks, to taking your four-legged friends to one of the many pet friendly businesses and restaurants, there are plenty of exciting adventures waiting for you to discover.
Hillsborough County has programs designed to help you keep your pets safe, healthy, and happy. The Michael S. Merrill Pet Resource Center (PRC) is the first stop to find a new or lost pet. You can also report animal emergencies to our Animal Control team.
Whether you’re a dog lover, a feline fanatic, or have a concern about animals in your neighborhood, we’re here to help.
The Pet Resource Center also has many volunteer opportunities to share your love of animals and give back to the community.
