The newest partner utilizing Hillsborough County's Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC) focuses on a younger demographic than the ECC tends to see come through its doors.
Year Up United is a national organization with a growing Hillsborough presence that equips young adults 18-29 with skills for success through a tuition-free job training program.
Young adults can access valuable support
The nonprofit organization's mission is to close the opportunity divide by ensuring that all young adults gain experience and support to help them to reach their higher education and career potential.
Beginning at the ECC the first week of 2026, the Year Up United class has been meeting at the ECC twice a week with class sizes of 35 to 50 students. The program offers professional training opportunities in Application Development, Banking, and Customer Success; access to internship opportunities with companies like Bank of America, Deloitte, and New York Life Insurance Company; and the ability to earn regular educational stipends during trainings and internships.
At the ECC, Year Up United has the opportunity to work with dozens of other ECC partners to help expand the learning environment.
