Learn about job opportunities directly from Public Works and Water Resources employees

Hillsborough County invites engineering professionals and recent graduates to attend an Engineering Career Connection Event on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park & Museum, 3602 N. U.S. Hwy. 301, Tampa, FL 33619.

The event is designed to connect current and aspiring engineers with representatives from multiple County departments, offering insight into open positions, workplace culture, and the benefits of a career in public service. With more than 30 engineering positions currently available, attendees will have the opportunity to network with County engineers and Human Resources staff to learn about roles that help shape the community's infrastructure and quality of life.

Participants will also have access to information about Hillsborough County's comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities, as well as the potential to participate in on-site interviews. The event is open to licensed engineering professionals and recent engineering graduates with a four-year degree.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and prepare to learn about how they can contribute to the County's ongoing projects and initiatives.
