Shine a light on your neighborhood's projects and programs

Calling all healthy, safe, and engaged neighborhoods! Applications are now open for the 2025 Hillsborough County Neighborhood Awards. Whether your community created a nature trail, hosted a food donation drive, or held a swim safety class, now's your chance to be recognized for making a difference.

The Neighborhood Awards celebrate exceptional neighborhood projects and events that took place in unincorporated Hillsborough County between July 2024 and June 2025. Nominations are being accepted in three categories:

  • Healthy - Promoting conservation, environmental stewardship, or healthy living
  • Safe - Enhancing safety or boosting disaster preparedness
  • Engaged - Building community spirit through volunteerism or communication
