Hillsborough County, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2024) - Hillsborough County will host an open house on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club in Wimauma to share the final Bethune Park Master Plan and the Master Plan Survey results.
County staff will be on hand to answer questions about the plan and next steps.
Bethune Park, in Wimauma, sits between North Street and Edina Street just west of Railroad Street.
Hillsborough County, along with the Wimauma community, began the Bethune Park master planning process to reimagine how Bethune Park could be improved to better serve Wimauma.
A virtual engagement was conducted in the spring and summer of 2024.
Residents can learn more about Wimauma's Bethune Park at the Hillsborough County Education and Engagement Hub, which is available in English and Spanish, and includes images of the concepts and links to the previous studies.
