The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced facilities management professional who is known for their timely, accurate, and detail-oriented approach to project management. They have a proven track record of ensuring that facilities operate efficiently and effectively, reducing operating costs and mitigating service interruptions. This individual has the ability to oversee and manage department-wide projects and programs related to contract administration, oversight of real estate/properties and buildings, and the management of special projects assigned by department management. Additionally, the incumbent serves as a valuable liaison between key county departments and offices, including Solid Waste, Public Utilities, the Clerk of the Court, and Real Estate, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is passionate about optimizing facilities operations and driving cost-effective solutions, and they would welcome the opportunity to discuss how their expertise and experience can contribute to the success of the organization.

Minimum qualifications required

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year degree granting college or university; AND
  • Four years of program/project management experience directly related to the position duties. OR
  • An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above.
