Holiday Parks Schedules

For other closure information at parks locations check the individual park/facility page for any announcements, including trail closures, construction events, phone or credit card lines down, or events affecting visits. Due to constantly changing weather conditions some conditions/closures may not be posted on the website.

For the most up-to-date park and trail conditions, please call the specific park or look for signage at the location.

Holiday schedules

Locations on the following holidays may be closed or have different operating hours than normal.

See the bottom of the page for Carrollwood Village Park (recreation center, splash pad, and skate park) hours as they may not follow the normal holiday schedule.

If the holiday falls on a weekend, the closures or altered hours may be on the Friday before or Monday after the holiday.

Open year round

The following non-staffed locations are open year round from sunrise to sunset and do not close on holidays:

• Apollo Beach Nature Preserve and Pebble Park are closed on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day

Carrollwood Village Park

Carrollwood Village Park follows normal operating hours of 7 AM to 9 PM seven days a week all year with the following exceptions:

• Thanksgiving Day - 7 AM to 5 PM
• Christmas Day - Closed
• Observed Christmas holiday - 7 AM to 5 PM
• New Years Eve - 7 AM to 6 PM

The gate to this site is locked when staff is not present.
