The Regulatory Compliance division of Code Enforcement is responsible for the administration, registration, and oversight of a number of regulated business activities in accordance with Hillsborough County Code of Ordinances and Laws.

Regulatory Compliance’s specialized investigative teams work with citizens, civic groups, law enforcement, and other organizations to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of Hillsborough County residents and visitors. Many of the ordinances or laws are effective and enforced throughout Hillsborough County, including the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City.
