Annual water quality reports now available online

Hillsborough County's 2024 annual water quality reports are now available to the public.

The reports detail the results of the County's drinking water testing, provide information on local water sources, and highlight the County's ongoing investments in water infrastructure to ensure safe, clean, and reliable service.

The County's Water Resources department operates 11 community public drinking water systems, and each system has a dedicated report. In 2024, the County supplied more than 73 million gallons of drinking water per day on average to approximately 725,000 residents. Last year, staff collected more than 7,600 water samples and performed nearly 34,000 drinking water tests, all to maintain the County's high standards. These tests are conducted by the County's certified environmental laboratory to ensure the water consistently meets or exceeds federal and state quality standards.

Residents and business owners can view the 2024 reports by visiting HCFL.gov/WaterQualityReports, and locate the report for their service address. Printed copies are available by request at (813) 246-3146 or through an online form on the website.

The annual reports are required under the Safe Drinking Water Act, amended by Congress in 1996, which mandates that community water systems share details about their drinking water sources, treatment processes, and regulatory compliance.
