Hillsborough County, Fla. (Feb. 13, 2025) - Come to the Pet Resource Center over Valentine's Day weekend and meet the newest love of your life.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, residents can go to the Pet Resource Center and adopt a cat or a dog for no fees as part of the Fall in Love promotion at PRC. Not sure whether the pet will be a good fit? PRC offers "pawditions'' - a two-week trial period to make sure the pet is a good match in your life and home. Every adopted pet will go home with a special Valentine's Day toy while supplies last.
The Pet Resource Center, 440 N. Falkenburg, Tampa, FL 33619, is the only open-admissions shelter in Hillsborough County, meaning the shelter accepts all dogs and cats regardless of breed, size, or medical condition. The shelter is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Photos and information of dogs and cats available for adoption are also available through PRC's online kennel.
