It's time to lace up those sneakers and get moving because the 2024 Active Life Games are just around the corner. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for some friendly competition, the Games offer something for everyone.
Join active adults 50 and older for two weeks of Olympics-style excitement from Sept. 30 - Oct. 11. With events like track and field, pickleball, shuffleboard, billiards, and horseshoes, there's a sport for every skill and fitness level.
Here are the details:
- Opening Ceremonies: Sept. 30 at 10 a.m., Barksdale Senior Center, 1801 N. Lincoln Ave., Tampa, FL 33607
- Closing Ceremonies: Oct. 11 at 11 a.m., University Area Community Complex, 14013 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33613
- Cost: $25 for one event, $30 for unlimited events (add $30 for golf)
