Enjoy free performances and interactive events from Tampa Bay area artists all weekend

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 27, 2024) - New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC) will host its annual Fall Festival Thursday, Sept. 12, through Sunday, Sept. 15. This year's festival will take place over four days, bringing Tampa Bay area artists together for a celebration of dance, music, comedy, theatre performances, and interactive activities all ages will enjoy.

The festival also includes a free family-friendly showing of Disney's live-action Aladdin on Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by The Florida Orchestra and Gasparilla Music Festival's instrument petting zoos from 12-4 p.m., where kids can explore and play musical instruments such as gongs, cellos, and more.

All festival events and performances are free to the public. This year's performance lineup includes:

  • Powerstories Theatre
  • Tampa Bay Theatre Festival
  • Kuumba Dancers and Drummers
  • Countdown Improv
  • Rudram Dance Company
  • Entertainment Revue
  • New Tampa Players
  • Jansen Dance Project
  • ATLAS Modern Ballet
  • Outcast Theatre
  • Freedom High School and Wharton High School theatre, music, and chorus programs
  • Anna Dance Academy and more

In addition to the main stage acts, there will be lobby performances throughout the festival from the Tampa Brass Band quartet, the Nikolov West Piano Studio, USF Music, Aline Giampietro Trifonov, and other artists.

Festival attendees can meet NTPAC staff and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. The meet-and-greet tours are offered at the following times:

  • Thursday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 14, at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
