Hillsborough County, Fla. (August 26, 2024) - Hillsborough County Commissioners are seeking residents to serve on the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) Board. Residents interested in seeking appointment must reside in and be registered voters in Hillsborough County. This is a voluntary position, and members serve without compensation.
All applicants must submit a completed Questionnaire for County Appointments and Standards form. Additional requirements are in the information that follows.

All forms must be signed and dated, and all questions must be answered in entirety to be eligible. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The application is due by close of business on September 20, 2024. Appointments will be scheduled for a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners in November or December 2024.

The mission of the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART) is to take people to the places that enhance their lives. One new position is open. Term is for three years. Position is specified as BOCC representative.
Citizens appointed to this board will be required to file an annual financial disclosure. Citizens appointed to this board must reside in the unincorporated area of Hillsborough County. Meeting schedule: Monthly, 1st Monday, 9:30AM.
