Hillsborough County plans to close Morris Bridge Road in the northeast part of the County
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 7, 2024) – Hillsborough County plans to close Morris Bridge Road in the northeast part of the County on Thursday morning, Aug. 8, due to rising water levels on the Hillsborough River.
The road will be closed between High Meadow Avenue and Corey Lakes Boulevard and will remain closed until the water recedes. The County encourages residents who use the roadway to plan for an alternate route.
Detours around the closure have been posted and message boards are in the area urging caution when water is in the roadway.
