Hillsborough business owners to share how they survived and carried on post-storm
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Dec. 12, 2024) - Back-to-back hurricanes with record-breaking impacts caused disruption across Hillsborough County, and businesses that weren't destroyed were forced to adapt to bounce back.
December's Local Stories Live event will be an inspiring panel discussion with local business owners who have successfully navigated the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. These resilient entrepreneurs will share their stories of rapid recovery, resourcefulness, and the strategies they used to pivot and rebuild their businesses in challenging times.
Learn how each panelist adapted to unexpected obstacles, leveraged community support, and innovated to thrive under difficult circumstances. Whether you're a business owner, community leader, or someone interested in disaster preparedness and recovery, this event offers valuable insights into the power of resilience and adaptability in times of crisis.
Hillsborough's popular Local Stories Live event in December will help business owners see how other entrepreneurs manage the pressure of storm season.
Small business owners, who account for almost half of the private-sector workers in the U.S., collectively have a big role in the region's recovery.
