Phone survey of residents to start May 14, and online survey starts later this month

Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 13, 2024) - Hillsborough County wants to hear from you as it rolls out its 2024 Countywide Survey.

The telephone survey will start on Tuesday, May 14, giving residents an opportunity to offer feedback on community topics and their level of satisfaction with local government services.

The County will use the results of the 2024 Countywide Survey to inform and update government operations. The responses will help evaluate residents' current priorities and satisfaction levels. The results of the 2024 Countywide Survey will also be compared to the 2021 Countywide Survey, which was the last time a similar Countywide Survey was completed.

Starting Tuesday, May 14, a sample of Hillsborough County residents - including residents of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City - will be selected and called to participate by phone in the anonymous 2024 Countywide Survey.

The survey questions are designed to capture a holistic assessment of various aspects of life in Hillsborough County:

  • Local economy
  • Public safety
  • Life enrichment
  • Recreational opportunities
  • Self-sufficiency programs for individuals and families
  • High-quality community assets

Residents who aren't called can still participate in the online survey by visiting HCFL.gov/Survey. The online survey will be available later this month.
