CSX will close many railroad crossings in Hillsborough County for repair over the next three weeks as crews work to maintain the crossings.
Work will begin Jan. 15 in the Palm River area. The following crossings will be closed during maintenance:
Palm River Road
S. 16th Ave.
24th Ave. S.
St. Paul Street
Hartford Street
Madison Street.
The work also includes the crossings north of State Road 60 on Orient Road, Tampa East Boulevard, and Falkenburg Road.
Marked detours will be posted in the area. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes. Drive carefully in these areas while crews work to maintain the railroad crossings.
