Liana Fox, Ph.D.
A fourth-generation Tampa native, educator, and community leader, Liana Fernandez Fox, Ph.D., had dedicated more than 50 years to expanding access to higher education and advancing women's leadership in Hillsborough County as a mathematics professor, academic leader, union president, philanthropist, and advocate for Latinx representation, earning honors including Profession Emeritus at Hillsborough Community College and recognition as a Woman of Distinction and Tampa Bay Lightning Hometown Hero.
Susan Leisner, CFA
A nationally recognized finance expert and trailblazing advocate for gender equality, Susan Wagner Leisner, CFA, broke the corporate "glass ceiling" as lead plaintiff in a landmark Title VII discrimination case, later becoming the second woman appointed to the Florida Public Service Commissioner and dedicating decades of leadership and philanthropy to advancing opportunities for women in Hillsborough County and beyond.
Norma Reno
A Venezuelan-born attorney, educator, and human rights advocate, Norma Camero Reno has devoted decades to empowering immigrant and Hispanic communities in Hillsborough County through legal scholarship, civic leadership, and service as cofounder of Casa Venezuela Tampa Bay, advisory board member, award-winning community champion, and bilingual author promoting cross-cultural understanding.
