Women's Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Nominations
The Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women is now accepting nominations for the Women’s Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Fully-completed nomination forms must be submitted by 5 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024.
See past inductees below in the information pages. NOTE: Due to COVID-19 there were no inductees for 2021 and 2022.
2024 Women's Hall of Fame Inductees
Marsha Passmore - Marsha Passmore 's name is synonymous with community service, non-profits, political influence and building relationships that bridges gaps to improve the quality of life in her hometown and beyond, especially championing the cause for the rights of women in the workplace. Born and raised in Plant City she served as a City Commissioner for six years, winning her first election by only two votes. She gravitates to an endless number of causes that will make the community better, and with her strong faith in God see's everyday as perfect, some are just more perfect than others.
Alex Sink - Alex Sink was the first female Chief Financial Officer for the state of Florida. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and taught at a girls schools in Sierra Leone and at the American School in Liberia. Her mission is to empower the people of Florida, focusing on elevating underrepresented public and private citizens.
