How and where to dispose of alkaline batteries
Common sizes of single-use alkaline batteries include AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V. You find these batteries in alarm clocks, computer mice, remotes, flashlights, and smoke detectors.
- Under state law and regulations, alkaline batteries can be disposed of with household garbage.
