Volunteer and internship opportunities in case management, fitness, activities, nutrition services, and more

Aging Services has many volunteer and internship opportunities. Our volunteer partners include individual residents, corporations, and local colleges and universities.

Who can volunteer?

It depends on the type of volunteer work you're interested in. Many opportunities require a Level II background screening and training on medical privacy (HIPAA) requirements.

Roles

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

  • Case management
  • Customer care and client intake
  • Fitness and activities
  • Nutrition services
  • Quality and compliance
  • Senior centers and dining centers

Things to know

  • Certain roles require a background check through the State of Florida and may affect your placement. Results are kept private.
  • You must sign the following:
    • Confidentiality statement
    • Model Release, allowing us to use photos/videos of you in promotions
  • Volunteers are unpaid, including using your photos or videos
