The New Tampa Performing Arts Center is gearing up for an inspiring and creativity‑filled season with the return of its popular Encore! Camp, offering both Fall Break and Winter Break sessions for children ages 7-13. Known for blending fun with hands‑on performing arts education, Encore! Camp gives young performers the chance to step into the spotlight or discover new talents behind the scenes.
Each day of camp is packed with acting, dancing, singing, and even a special stage makeup class designed to help campers explore the full spectrum of theatrical expression. Participants also work alongside guest artists and professional instructors, gaining meaningful experience across all areas of the performing arts.
One of the signature highlights of Encore! Camp is exclusive backstage access to the New Tampa Performing Arts Center. Campers will see firsthand what happens behind the curtain, from technical operations to stage management, an opportunity that deepens their appreciation for live performance and broadens their creative horizons.
By the end of each session, campers leave with new skills, confidence, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Whether a child dreams of performing under the lights or simply wants to try something new, Encore! Camp offers an engaging and welcoming space for exploration.
Camp registration is $72 per camper per session. Camps are offered throughout the year in two-week, one-week, and multi-day sessions. Campers must bring their own lunch. Food deliveries from services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats are not permitted.
