Hillsborough County, Fla. (Sept. 24, 2026) - Hillsborough County residents can learn how to start seeds, conserve water, manage finances, explore local forests, and even discover the important role bats play in Florida ecosystems this October through Hillsborough County Extension Service's lineup of educational classes and workshops offered both in-person and online.
From composting and Florida-Friendly Landscaping to diabetes management and resources for agricultural landowners, Extension experts continue to provide research-based programs designed to help residents conserve natural resources, strengthen financial and health knowledge, and build practical skills. Many programs are beginner-friendly and open to residents across the county.
