Tampa Heights and Seminole Heights will be treated tonight
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 18, 2026) - Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will conduct aerial applications of Dibrom insecticide to control adult mosquitoes on Tuesday, Aug. 18, between 8:40 p.m. and midnight at the following locations:
Treatment Locations
Tampa Heights and Seminole Heights
North Boundary: Sligh Avenue
South Boundary: I-4 and I-275
East Boundary: I-275
West Boundary: North Boulevard
Some areas around the above treatment location also will be treated by ground. The mission will be flown by helicopter at an altitude of 150 feet, with an application rate of .66 ounces per acre.
