Hillsborough County, Fla. (July 22, 2026) - Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will treat for mosquitoes by air on Thursday, July 23, in South Tampa.
There will be an aerial application of the insecticide Dibrom to control adult mosquitoes between 3:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., Thursday, July 23, at the following locations:
South Tampa
- North Boundary: Swann Avenue
- South Boundary: Gandy Boulevard
- East Boundary: Bayshore Boulevard
- West Boundary: Tampa Bay (body of water)
The mission will be flown by a single-engine helicopter at an altitude of 300 feet and an application rate of .66 ounces per acre.
First alternate spray date: July 24, 2026
Second alternate spray date: July 25, 2026
