Hillsborough County's Fleet department places 25th among the top 100 fleets in the nation
Hillsborough County Fleet Management has earned the No. 25 spot in the 2026 100 Best Fleets in the Americas, a highly regarded industry recognition presented by NAFA Fleet Management Association.
This year's ranking continues a long tradition of excellence for the department, which has repeatedly been honored for its excellence in efficiency, innovation, and service.
The County has steadily remained among the nation's top fleets, including being named the No. 1 Public Fleet in the Nation in 2023. This continued success reflects a strong operational strategy and a culture of excellence built by the team every day.
Fleet Management continues moving forward with cutting-edge technology, modernized operations, and long-range innovation efforts to keep Hillsborough County's fleet among the best in the industry.
To support this growth, the department is actively recruiting skilled technicians to help maintain and repair the County's 3,700 vehicles and equipment assets valued at $260 million. Fleet Management also offers technician training courses to help employees grow their careers.
