Closure will be between Cory Lake Boulevard and Cedar Cove Drive
Hillsborough County, Fla. (Feb. 12, 2026) - A portion of Morris Bridge Road will close for up to two weeks for stormwater drainage repair beginning Monday, Feb 16.
Only a small segment of Morris Bridge Road will be closed between Cory Lake Boulevard and Cedar Cove Drive. All homes and businesses will be accessible by Morris Bridge Road either from the north or from the south. The detours for commuters can be extensive.
To avoid congestion and delays during this time, drivers can use Cross Creek Boulevard and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to get around the work area. Navigation apps have been updated on the detour and will route drivers around the closure.
