Hillsborough County, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2026) - Tampa native and musical theatre star Alexis Carra returns to the New Tampa Unplugged stage Sunday after earning glowing praise for her heartfelt hometown performance last season.
Carra, whose entertainment career has spanned from the Broadway stage (Wicked, Sweet Charity) to Hollywood (Mixology, Grey's Anatomy), returns to the New Tampa Performing Arts Center for a 90-minute performance Sunday at 3 p.m.
Carra will be accompanied by David Estevez on piano. This year, Carra also will welcome two guest artists -- Emilia Sargent and Alexia Sky Colon -- who each will join her for a duet.
Tickets are $10-25 based on seat selection and can be purchased at NewTampaArtsCenter.org/tickets.
Carra is a fourth-generation Hillsborough native who also leads the Broader than Broadway nonprofit to expand access to performing arts education for young people. Last year's show explored her journey back to Tampa; this year explores her journey into adulthood/motherhood, featuring songs from hit musicals that resonate with her.
The January events of the 2025-26 season at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC) shine with a variety of high-quality entertainment across music, dance, film, and more.
