Hillsborough planners are updating the Riverview Community Plan - share your feedback through a quick survey

The Riverview Community Plan was created in 2005 with a series of goals and strategies to enhance the community, create a town center, protect the area's culture, outline design standards, boost transportation, and enrich the Alafia River's economic and recreational opportunities. A lot has happened since then, and it's time to update the 20-year-old plan.

To get started, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners requested a study to evaluate the current Riverview Community Plan, develop new strategies or change existing ones, and assess overall mobility options in the area.

Earlier this year, two surveys were conducted to gather input from the Riverview community about certain elements of the plan. A series of public meetings were also held in October. Now, Hillsborough County is requesting feedback from community members to inform the vision, goals, and priorities of the new community plan for 2026.

Riverview residents are encouraged to submit feedback through an online survey open through Nov. 21, 2025.
