The exhibit, "Arts Council Honors," opens Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. during the Ybor Arts Tour. Hosted by the Arts Council of Hillsborough County and Kress Contemporary, the gallery will feature original works created through projects and equipment funded by the grant program, which supports artists advancing their professional careers throughout Hillsborough County.
Exhibiting artists include Dylan Perry (painting), Jorie Berman (ceramics), Christine Castro (painting/drawing), Regina Rohm (ceramics), Evan Lawson (filmmaking/editorial photography), and Vanessa Thayer (digital painting/photography).
While the Oct. 16 event marks its official opening, "Arts Council Honors" will remain on display for visitors through Nov. 5 in two dedicated gallery spaces on the third floor of Kress Contemporary, 1624 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City, Tampa, FL 33605.
