Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 20, 2025) - Race Track Road just north of South Mobley Road will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, through 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.

This closure will be followed by a full reopening of Race Track Road from South Mobley Road to Sri Chinmoy Street as the underground utility work that required the lane closure is expected to be complete by Monday, weather permitting.

To avoid congestion and delays during this time, drivers can use South Mobley Road and Gunn Highway to get around the work area. Navigation apps have been updated on the detour and will route drivers around the closure.
