Hillsborough County, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, has launched a survey asking individuals to share their opinions about health care priorities and how they prefer to receive health-related information. The survey is designed to improve how Hillsborough County and the Department of Health communicate with the public on health education, prevention, and wellness.

Everyone is invited to participate in the short online survey, which covers a range of topics including health care coverage, areas of health interest, and how they like to receive health-related information. The survey is anonymous, takes only a few minutes to complete, and is available through Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The information collected will help local health officials and organizations better understand the health concerns of Hillsborough County residents and tailor messages to reflect those interests and needs. By identifying the most effective ways to reach residents with relevant and timely health information, the survey results can help raise awareness of often-ignored topics like preventive care, chronic disease management, health care coverage, and mental health resources. This targeted approach can lead to better-informed residents, healthier decision-making, and improved overall wellness across the county.
