Hillsborough County, Fla. (May 9, 2025) - For many, Memorial Day weekend signals the unofficial start of summer. But military and Gold Star Families, whose loved ones gave their lives in service to the nation, ask that Americans reflect on the true meaning of the holiday: honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
