Tampa Bay Symphony: Scheherazade! on Friday, May 9, at 8 p.m.

The Tampa Bay Symphony consists of over 80 musicians and has been described as "one of Tampa Bay's hidden jewels." Purchase tickets on the Tampa Bay Symphony website.

Kids Film Series: A Bug's Life on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m.

Catch A Bug's Life on the big screen for just $5 a ticket. The Pixar classic follows Flik, a misfit ant who accidentally destroys his colony's food supply and recruits a band of insect circus performers to help fight off an army of greedy grasshoppers. New Tampa Unplugged: The Women of Jazz on Sunday, May 11, at 3 p.m.

Inspired by the hit show, MTV Unplugged, the New Tampa Unplugged concert series presents acoustic performances by notable Tampa Bay musicians. The theater is transformed into a unique, living-room-style venue with candlelit cabaret seating. This special Unplugged performance features The Women of Jazz, led by saxophonist and vocalist Valerie Gillespie. The program includes instrumental and vocal jazz, showcasing songs written or made famous by women. Tickets are $15-$20 depending on seat selection and can be purchased at NewTampaArtsCenter.org/Tickets.

New Tampa Jazz Nights: Ken Peplowski & Diego Figueiredo on Wednesday, May 21, at 8 p.m.

New Tampa Jazz Nights is presented by NTPAC and Tampa Jazz Club. The Jazz Nights season finale brings together two world-renowned virtuosos. Ken Peplowski's clarinet and saxophone artistry is known to jazz listeners from hundreds of recordings, and Diego Figueiredo's sensational guitar playing has earned him fans worldwide. Their magic as a duo is not to be missed! Tickets are $10-$30 depending on seat selection and can be purchased through Tampa Jazz Club.
