Hillsborough County, Fla. (Feb. 14, 2025) - Hillsborough County will reopen the Northwest Equestrian Conservation Park on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 a.m.
The park, located at 10711 S. Mobley Rd., Odessa, FL 33566, was temporarily closed in October for use as a countywide storm debris collection site to accommodate the unprecedented quantity of debris from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Northwest Equestrian Conservation Park hosts a 6-mile trail that is popular with horseback riders and hikers. The park's trails meander through cypress and hardwood swamps, freshwater marshes, and oak hammocks. The County does not provide horseback riding rentals.
